Summary: The role of Denodo Data Engineer requires an SC-cleared professional to join a central government data platform programme. This client-facing position emphasizes strong communication skills and a proactive approach while working within a delivery team to build and deliver data views and support data migration initiatives. The role involves collaboration with client stakeholders and participation in workshops, with a focus on data pipeline optimization and complex data transformations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver base and integration views from connected data systems
- Build and optimise data pipelines to support data migration
- Support automation and assist with code creation and testing
- Perform complex data transformations and processing using appropriate coding languages
- Collaborate closely with client stakeholders and contribute to workshops
Key Skills:
- Strong Denodo experience
- Proven understanding of Denodo VDB performance, optimisation, and security patterns, including query delegation, caching strategies, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and experience working within delivery teams
- Experience with Jira and Confluence (desirable)
- Some understanding of legacy government data warehouse estates (desirable)
