The Role
As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for analysing sales trends, forecasting future demand, and collaborating with multiple departments to optimise inventory levels and supply chain performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data and market trends.
- Monitoring forecast accuracy and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Working closely with Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.
- Managing stock levels to reduce shortages and excess inventory.
- Analysing product performance and seasonal demand patterns.
- Producing regular planning and forecasting reports for key stakeholders.
- Identifying risks and opportunities within the supply chain.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Demand Planner, Supply Planner, Forecast Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Experience working with forecasting and inventory management systems.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience within FMCG, manufacturing, retail, or supply chain environments is advantageous.
