Summary: The Delivery Manager for Software Engineering in Retail Banking will lead software engineering teams to deliver complex technology programs, particularly in payments. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead software engineering teams as a Delivery Manager or Project Manager
- Deliver complex technology programmes within retail banking or financial services
- Manage projects involving payments including BACS, SWIFT, SEPA
- Utilize knowledge of ThoughtMachine and/or ClearBank
- Act as a Product Owner
- Implement Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and frameworks (Jira, Confluence)
- Collaborate with engineering teams across Back End, Front End, and cloud-based architectures
- Apply modern engineering practices (CI/CD, DevOps, microservices)
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Delivery Manager or Project Manager
- Strong background in retail banking or financial services
- Experience with payments systems (BACS, SWIFT, SEPA)
