Summary: The Delivery Manager - Sage role is focused on managing inbound projects within the AEOI/Sage team, specifically for Talend-based solutions related to tax reporting and exchange regimes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Day to day management of the delivery and test team for the life cycle of the project.
  • Working closely with the project Software Architect on the technical aspects of the project.
  • Collaborating with the engagement manager to plan the workload based on the approved statement of work.
  • Estimating costs for amendments or change requests to the statement of work.
  • Managing Agile processes, including sprint ceremonies and cadences.
  • Engaging with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinating with other delivery groups on dependent deliveries.
  • Completing handover activities into production with DPS Live Service.
  • Estimating costs for future projects.
  • Managing workloads on complicated long-term project deliveries using Agile methods with Jira and Confluence.
  • Planning large project deliveries and translating technical estimates into Statement of Work responses.

Role purpose/summary

An additional delivery manager role is required to meet the H2 demand of inbound projects within the AEOI/Sage team. SC is required for this role.
The Sage team work in the Advanced Exchange of Information business area to delivery Talend based solutions for new and uplifted tax reporting and exchange regimes with foreign jurisdictions.

There are 2 major projects inbound during H2 for which we need an additional Delivery Manager to meet the demand. The delivery manager is expected to be self sufficient in the management of their team for the regime they are delivering.
Day to day management of the delivery and test team for the life cycle of the project
Working closely with the project Software Architect on the technical aspects of the project
Working closely with the engagement manager to plan the workload for the team based on the approved statement of work
Working with the engagement manager to impact and estimate any amendments or change requests to the statement of work, providing the cost estimate for the effort required for the delivery team

Management of the Agile ways of working for the team, including setup and running of the sprint ceremonies and cadences.
Working with the Engagement Manager and stakeholders throughout the life cycle of the project
Working with other delivery groups who have dependent deliveries within the same regime
Working with DPS Live Service to complete handover activities into production
Impacting effort and estimating costs for future projects
Experience working with technical delivery teams
Experience in managing workloads on complicated long-term project deliveries, specifically in Agile delivery method using Jira and Confluence
Experience in planning large project deliveries, and impacting effort and estimating costs with the technical team and translating that into Statement of Work responses.
