Summary: The Delivery Manager role at a public sector organization in Cardiff involves overseeing the effective delivery of complex, high-risk products and projects. Key Skills:

  • Educated to Masters level (or equivalent qualification/experience).
  • Expert in Agile and Lean practices.
  • Certification such as Professional Scrum Master or equivalent.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Expert at supporting multi-disciplinary teams in the delivery of products and services.
  • Extensive delivery management experience.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects and coach multi-disciplinary teams through the product life cycle.
  • Excellent expectation management skills.
  • Extensive experience using Agile principles for technology programme delivery.
  • Demonstrable experience with introducing Agile and Lean practices into an organization.
  • Expert at balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity in a complex environment.
  • Demonstrable focus on details including metrics, KPIs, and processes.
  • Experience in budget management and managing service agreements with third-party suppliers.
  • Pragmatic, innovative problem solver.
  • Expert at coaching teams to apply a user-centered focus and deliver to service standards.
  • Expert at creating a positive environment to support a strong team culture.
  • Expert at ensuring quality in the delivery of products and services.
