Summary: Hamilton Barnes is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager for a six-month contract with a leading energy organization in the UK. The role involves overseeing the end-to-end delivery model for projects, ensuring Agile software development and CI/CD pipeline implementation. The position requires a hybrid working arrangement, with two days per week in Edinburgh. The contract is classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and govern the project's end-to-end delivery framework, acting as the technical authority across Solution Design, Configuration Management, Solution Integration, Engineering and Global Delivery teams.
- Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), track progress against milestones, and apply Agile practices - stepping into Release Train Engineer, Scrum Master or Product Owner duties as needed.
- Partner with DevOps to streamline deployments by implementing Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and automated testing pipelines.

Key Skills:
- Proven track record in end-to-end software systems development, commissioning and operational support within a services/project delivery context.

- Experience managing technical delivery across distributed teams and global delivery centers.

Hamilton Barnes are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to join one of the UK's leading energy organisations on an initial six-month contract. In this hybrid role (two days per week in Edinburgh), you will own the project's end-to-end delivery model - coordinating Solution Design, Application Experts, Configuration Management, Solution Integration, Engineering and Global Delivery Centers - to drive Agile software development, CI/CD pipeline implementation, operational testing and continuous improvement, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and seamless handover to support teams.
