Delivery Manager |6 Month Contract | Hybrid | Public Sector & Government

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to support a government client within the public sector.

This is an initial 6-month contract with the potential for extension.

Candidates must be comfortable working in a hybrid environment, with an expectation of 3 days onsite/week, supporting digital delivery across complex programmes and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams in the successful delivery of digital products and services.
• Manage the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, ensuring outcomes are delivered to time, quality and budget expectations.
• Remove impediments and unblock delivery challenges across teams and stakeholders.
• Facilitate planning, sprint ceremonies, workshops and programme governance activities.
• Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes, tools and team performance.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate delivery progress, risks and dependencies.
• Support Agile ways of working and promote a culture of collaboration and accountability.
• Ensure delivery aligns with user needs, business objectives and government digital standards.

Essential Experience

• Previous experience delivering programmes within Government or Public Sector environments.
• Experience leading Agile delivery teams across digital transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrable experience managing risks, issues, dependencies and delivery roadmaps.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams including product, engineering, design and business stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across all organisational levels.
• Experience facilitating workshops, planning sessions and governance forums.
• Ability to deliver in fast-paced and changing environments.

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: 6 months (Possible Extension)

Location: 3 days Onsite

Rate: £300 - £435 per day Inside IR35
