Summary: The Delivery Lead will oversee project activities for a Fraud engagement initiative, focusing on real-time screening of payments through NetReveal. This role requires coordination with multiple teams to ensure high-quality software delivery while managing project plans, scope, and stakeholder relationships. The position demands strong leadership and experience in banking or financial services, particularly in managing complex projects. The contract duration is 4-6 months and is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of multiple projects.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with senior leadership, key stakeholders, and project sponsors.
  • Facilitate regular status meetings with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Ensure clear communication of project goals, progress, and challenges.
  • Identify and mitigate risks across the project.
  • Ensure that projects comply with regulatory and compliance standards specific to the banking industry.
  • Monitor project compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports as required.
  • Allocate and manage resources (human, financial, technological) effectively and efficiently to achieve project goals.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, legal, compliance, and finance.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring their contributions align with project goals.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are tracked and controlled.
  • Report project financials, including forecasting, variance analysis, and budget adherence.
  • Support financial audits and ensure accurate financial documentation.
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance protocols for project deliverables.
  • Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (eg, MS Project, JIRA, or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of risk management and regulatory compliance in banking.
  • 15+ years of experience in project/project management, with at least 3 years in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Proven experience in managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of banking operations, financial products, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with digital transformation initiatives and technology implementation in a banking context is a plus.
