Summary: The DDI Automation Engineer role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining automation solutions for DNS, DHCP, and IPAM environments, leveraging Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in network automation and DevOps, with hands-on experience in developing CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools. While DDI experience is preferred, candidates with a solid automation background in related fields are also encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain DDI automation solutions across DNS, DHCP, and IPAM environments
- Drive automation strategy leveraging container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
- Develop dashboards, observability, and alerting to monitor automation workflows and platform health
- Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
- Work closely with development teams, network engineers, and stakeholders to ensure scalable, production-ready automation solutions
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities across DDI and network services
Key Skills:
- Strong background in Network Automation and/or DDI engineering
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized automation environments (Docker preferred)
- Advanced Python development skills
- Strong DevOps experience including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability & monitoring tools
- Experience working with REST APIs and API gateways (e.g., Kong)
- Infrastructure as Code experience (Ansible preferred)
- Proficiency with Git-based version control (e.g., GitHub)
- Strong networking fundamentals: IP addressing & subnetting, Routing, DNS, DHCP
- Experience with enterprise DDI platforms such as VitalQIP, Infoblox, EfficientIP

DDI / Network Automation & DevOps Engineer Overview
We are seeking a DDI / Automation Engineer with a strong network automation background and hands-on experience driving automation initiatives in containerized environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Kubernetes-led automation, combined with solid networking fundamentals and exposure to enterprise DDI platforms. While DDI experience is highly desirable, we are also open to strong Automation/DevOps Engineers who previously worked in DDI engineering or network automation roles.
