Summary: World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking an experienced Datacenter Network Engineer to design, implement, and support scalable datacenter networks using Cisco and Arista technologies. The role requires hands-on expertise in Layer 2/3 protocols and experience in multi-vendor environments. This is a contract position based in Bromley, UK, with a hybrid working arrangement. The contract duration is 6 months and falls inside IR35 regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust and scalable datacenter network architectures using Cisco and Arista solutions.
- Configure Layer 2/3 networking protocols, VLANs, STP, VxLAN, BGP, OSPF, and EVPN.
- Perform day-to-day network administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting in datacenter environments.
- Work in multi-vendor environments, spanning both Cisco and Arista technologies.
- Complete background checks before commencing contract.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience as a Network Engineer in datacenter environments.
- Hands-on expertise in Layer 2/3 protocols (VLANs, STP, VXLAN, BGP, OSPF, EVPN).
- Experience working in multi-vendor environments.
- Ability to design and implement scalable network architectures.
- Eligibility to live and work in the specified work location.

Contract Duration: 6 months!
Location: Bromley, UK (Hybrid with 2 days on-site per week)
Experience as a Network Engineer in datacenter environments.
