Summary: Scalers is seeking a Database Engineer with expertise in PostgreSQL to join a FinTech scaleup in London on a contractual basis. Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Database Engineer with a focus on PostgreSQL to join our FinTech and Payments partner on a contractual basis. Please see below a snapshot of the role. What we’re looking for from you:
- Working experience working as a Database Engineer supporting PostgreSQL and/or MySQL in a Production Environment.
- Public cloud experience using OpenStack, GCP or AWS
- A DevOps / automation first mindset, with experience using deployments with Ansible (or similar automation tool for config/admin)
- Practical Experience of the following using scripting languages or programming frameworks (Python, Bash, Java, etc)
- System administration and tuning of Linux-based servers
- Strong working knowledge and experience using code versioning tools like Git.
