Are you an experienced Database consultant with strong skills in automation and managing containerised database environments? I have an immediate opportunity on a 12-month contract for a large corporate client in central Glasgow. You'll play a key part in the implementation and configuration of their database services, including some newSQL solutions. The work is hands-on and technical, supporting the delivery of high-performance platforms for global use. I am therefore looking for candidates who have Previous experience working as a Database Engineer designing, building and maintaining scalable data platforms for corporate clients.
Strong Python development skills
Postgres database experience
Knowledge of Kubernetes
Excellent Linux systems skills
Familiarity with database security and performance monitoring
