Summary: The Data Workstream Lead will oversee a significant data migration and integration initiative as part of a strategic ERP implementation for an 18-month period. This role requires strong leadership and coordination across multiple workstreams, ensuring data quality and effective stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will manage a team of 15-20 people and collaborate with third-party vendors to deliver the required data capabilities. Proven experience in leading data initiatives within major system transformations is essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and structure the approach to data migration, integration, reporting, and data quality activities.
- Manage a workstream of 15-20 people, providing leadership and driving the creation of a coordinated plan.
- Engage with implementation partners and stakeholders to ensure realistic planning for data capabilities.
- Collaborate with third-party data service vendors and understand user requirements.
- Ensure data quality and support data architecture decisions.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in leading data workstreams on major system transformation programmes.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills.
- Ability to develop and communicate a compelling vision for data within a programme.
- Experience in creating and driving coordinated plans across architecture, migration, integration, and reporting.
- Knowledge of data quality evaluation and data architecture principles.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including working with third-party vendors.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and data strategies.
