Summary: The Data Visualisation Specialist role focuses on developing Tableau resources for a corporate environment, specifically for a project that will transition to Business As Usual (BAU) operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a Tableau workbook for the Commercial Steering meeting, ensuring it meets the needs of senior stakeholders.
- Work with large and complex data sets to deliver insights efficiently.
- Collaborate with the Data Analytics & Insight team to monitor progress and quality weekly.
- Document the build process, including calculated fields, for a smooth transition to BAU.
- Refine the workbook based on feedback from key stakeholders over a three-month period.
Key Skills:
- Extensive reporting and analytics experience in a large corporate environment.
- Strong background in Data Visualisation, specializing in Tableau (Server, Prep, and Desktop).
- Ability to work with large and complex data sets.
- Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders.

- Tableau Developer resource
- Need a specialist Developer for a development piece of work then pass to BAU
- Desktop / Server / Developer experience essential
Essential experience:
- Extensive reporting and analytics experience in large corporate environment
- Strong background in Data Visualisation specialising in Tableau (Server, Prep and Desktop)
- Ability to work with large and complex data sets
- Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders
- Ability to deliver to tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills
Preferred but not essential:
- Automotive experience
Scope of role:
- Deliver a workbook on Tableau server for use in the Commercial Steering meeting. This is a senior stakeholder meeting including the CEO, Head of Sales, Head of Brand Management, Head of Fleet and Controlling. The purpose of the meeting is to look at performance and understand risks, opportunities and key insight call outs. The workbook will update on a monthly basis following completion of our HQ submission. The mechanism for production needs to be as efficient as possible and the navigation needs to be intuitive for non data specialists.
- The workbook will have multiple views and will require click through navigation
- A check in with a member of the Data Analytics & Insight team will be once per week to monitor progress and quality
- The individual will be working alongside the team for 3 months, the first 2 for initial development and the final month for refinement with input from key stakeholders
- We will need documentation of the build including any calculated fields to enable transition to BAU running
