Data Test Analyst (AWS & SAS) to join a leading UK brand on a long term contract.
Hybrid, Inside IR35 & long term assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Create test plans, scenarios, and acceptance criteria for data migration and transformation.
- Perform data reconciliation and validation between SAS environments.
- Test ETL processes, data pipelines, and reporting outputs.
- Develop automated validation scripts using SQL, Python, and/or SAS.
- Support CI/CD test automation.
- Identify, track, and resolve data and migration defects.
- Ensure testing meets security, data protection, and governance standards.
- Support UAT and provide evidence for sign-off.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Test Managers, Developers, and Data Engineers.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in data testing and large-scale migrations.
- Strong SQL skills for data comparison and profiling.
- Knowledge of SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya 3.x/4.
- Understanding of ETL and data integration.
- Experience with Python/SAS test automation.
- Familiarity with Agile, Jira, and Confluence.
Desirable
- ISTQB certification.
- Experience in regulated environments.
- Knowledge of AWS and containerised deployments.
Open to candidates who can be onsite in Telford 2 days a week.
