Your Role

As a Data Scrum Master, you will help us to transform the way the RNLI manages its data and data product development by:

  • Facilitating Scrums and ensuring the team adheres to Agile principles and practices.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and define data requirements and user stories.
  • Providing leadership and support to the team, ensuring that we develop and maintain a best practice approach in the use of our DataOps techniques and tools.
  • Driving the adoption of Agile methodologies within the data team and championing the benefits this will bring to the RNLI.
  • Removing impediments and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Utilising tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage and track sprint progress and performance.

We’re looking for someone who has a sound understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices, and wants to share their skills with others, leading and developing a small but dedicated department.
