Summary: The Data Scientist role focuses on leveraging data science and engineering skills to provide actionable insights that enhance the customer journey for a global SaaS technology business. The position requires collaboration with Go-To-Market leaders to address their challenges through data-driven recommendations. The role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of 2-3 days per week on-site in London, and is set for a 12-month contract starting in January 2025. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK without relocation or sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize data science and engineering skills to generate actionable data-driven recommendations.
- Collaborate with Go-To-Market leaders to understand their goals and challenges.
- Identify optimal ways to use data and insights to support business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships within the analytics and data science community.
- Ensure best practices and widespread adoption of data insights across the organization.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in quantitative analysis within tech or management consulting.
- Experience in quantitative analysis and statistical modeling on complex data sets.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in a Databricks environment.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience in statistical modeling and data visualization using Microsoft Excel or Power Pivot.
- Knowledge of SaaS, mobile analytics, and subscription-based models is advantageous.
