Data Scientist - Labour Productivity/Hospitality
London | Hybrid - 2 days a week | Contract | £700-725pd Outside IR35
Not a generalist Data Scientist role.
We are looking for a Data Scientist/Data Analyst with proven labour optimisation experience to support a major workforce productivity programme within a large, multi-site business.
The two things we need to see:
- Proven labour optimisation experience - delivering measurable improvements across labour productivity, wage % to sales, sales per labour hour, scheduling or labour deployment.
- Strong Finance & Operations stakeholder management - able to turn analysis into actions and measurable commercial results.
What you'll need:
- 5+ years' analytics/data science experience in a multi-site environment - hospitality, retail, leisure or QSR preferred
- Advanced SQL and data warehouse experience - Snowflake/dbt advantageous
- Strong Excel financial modelling and understanding of P&L/labour costs
- Strong BI development - Power BI, Tableau, Looker or Omni
- Experience with rota, time & attendance and payroll data
