Summary: The Data Scientist role involves leading the design and implementation of a data platform for a key client, focusing on scalability and performance. The candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions while managing data pipelines and developing proof of concepts. This position requires strong self-management skills and the ability to integrate Azure and Power BI into the data ecosystem. The role is hybrid, requiring in-person presence in Guildford once a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, scaling, and implementation of a data platform.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Manage and optimize data pipelines to support analytics and machine learning use cases.
- Collaborate with Product, Programme Engineers, and Data Scientists within the AND Team.
- Develop and present Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for data solutions.
- Ensure smooth integration of Azure & Power BI into the data ecosystem.
- Maintain a strong relationship with clients and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist with a strong technical background in data platform scaling.
- Strong understanding of Azure & Power BI.
- Ability to design and implement data-driven solutions with a focus on scalability and performance.
- Hands-on experience with data solution architecture and proof-of-concept development.
- Ability to self-manage and drive projects forward with minimal supervision.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including liaising with the Head of Data & Client teams.
