Data Science Lead / Manager / Project - 6 month contract

Summary: The Data Science Project Lead will oversee multiple Data Science projects from inception to completion, ensuring effective engagement with the Data Science team. This role requires strong project management and stakeholder management skills, along with expertise in AI and ML tools. The position is hybrid, requiring one day per week onsite in Warwickshire. The contract duration is six months with a competitive day rate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple Data Science projects concurrently from start to completion.
• Engage and support the wider Data Science team.
• Utilize exceptional project management, change management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Apply strong Data Science expertise and fluency in AI/ML tools and techniques.
• Conduct data analysis and utilize Python for data science tasks.

Key Skills:

• Exceptional project management skills.
• Strong experience in Data Science and Data Scientist roles.
• Fluency in AI/ML tools and techniques, including GenAI/Agentic AI.
• Experience with cloud computing, preferably Azure.
• Data analysis and Python proficiency.
• Exposure to the energy or utilities market is advantageous.
• Active GitHub repository and Stack Overflow account.
• Participation in Data Science competitions (Kaggle, KDNuggets, etc.) is a plus.
• GIS knowledge (ArcGIS is a plus).
• Experience with interactive visualization tools (PowerBI is a plus).

Salary (Rate): £900.00 daily
