Summary: Data Risk & Compliance Consultant needed to oversee framework assurance in various data risk areas, including Cyber/Data Security and Data Governance. The role involves testing controls, identifying issues, and implementing remediation strategies to ensure data compliance and security. The consultant will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to enhance data reliability and governance. Strong communication and reporting skills are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead risk-based assurance reviews across multiple data risk frameworks.
- Test control design and effectiveness (cyber, assets, legal hold, access, retention, quality).
- Produce clear findings, ratings, and practical action plans.
- Work with Cyber, Legal, Data Owners, Engineering, and Governance to close gaps.
- Report control health and risk themes to senior stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- Experience in data risk/compliance/assurance/audit/controls.
- Strong grasp of data governance and security concepts.
- Able to translate frameworks into testable controls and improvements.
- Confident communicator with crisp reporting skills.
