Summary: The Data & Reporting Analyst role focuses on assessing and optimizing data sets within a charity institution, primarily utilizing Power BI for reporting. The position is remote with a requirement to be in the London office once a month. The analyst will lead data projects, define reporting requirements, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract aimed at enhancing data management and reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Being the technical lead for the data and reporting project
  • Assessing the current data sets captured across all current systems
  • Working within the CRM project to identify all of the data requirements to be fulfilled by the CRM
  • Identifying opportunities to remove data duplication and unnecessary data
  • Working with the data protection officer to ensure that all GDPR/data protection requirements are captured and met
  • Working with colleagues to develop the reporting requirements for regular reporting
  • Developing dynamic user-defined reporting to allow reporting self-service
  • Developing the above reports and ensuring they are fully tested

Key Skills:

  • Demonstrable project experience related to system data analysis particularly across a number of disparate systems
  • Ability to present complex information in a manner that can be understood by a wider audience
  • Excellent technical Power BI skills including the ability to create both static and dynamic reports
  • Experience of handling confidential data in a professional manner
  • Experience of working with third-party data providers
  • Ability and willingness to take ownership of situations, solve issues, and take initiative
  • Must have a positive, energetic and friendly attitude, with experience of building solid relationships with a broad variety of people, internally and externally
  • Excellent wider IT skills within the Microsoft environment
