Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with the Contracts team for regular reporting validation.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Information Analyst to establish a timetable for pre-flex reporting.
  • Investigate and resolve monthly validation Commissioner queries accurately and timely.
  • Utilize the National Clinical Spine Service for NHS numbers and amend patient records as needed.
  • Validate Exception reports and update NHS numbers and demographic details in PAS.
  • Assist in the administration of Audit programmes and deliver Data Quality training.
  • Conduct ADHOC visits to Moorfields sites as agreed with the DQ Manager.
  • Act as a liaison for national system queries related to Summary Care record training.
  • Provide cross-cover support for the DQ team during absences.

Key Skills:

  • Education to A level or equivalent standard.

Job Overview THE POST To provide a supporting role in the management of the Trust’s portfolio of contracts with Primary Care Trusts with particular reference to resolving commissioner queries, Aiding the Contracts team in the communication around Devolved patients and providing Data Quality Validation, RA & Audit Administration support within the Department. Key working relationships include liaison internally with the trust Contracts team, Senior Information Analysts, General Managers and Internal Audit Teams, smartcard users across all sites.

Main duties of the job Contracts Develop & maintain relationships with Contracts team within the trust to ensure regular reporting is available for validation. Develop with the Senior Information Analyst a timetable for receipt of the pre flex reporting for validation purposes. Investigate and resolve monthly validation Commissioner queries in a timely and accurate manner Use the National Clinical Spine Service as appropriate for NHS numbers and misattributions amending patient demographic records as appropriate on PAS system Data Quality To validate Exception reports derived from DBS batch trace files, updating NHS numbers & Core demographic details to PAS in line with the national database information To work closely with other DQ team members to review process documentation used to generate reports and validation work. Aid in the administration of the Audit programmes. Alongside other DQ team members develop and deliver Data Quality training across the Trust. ADHOC visits to all Moorfields sites as arranged & agreed with the DQ Manager. To be a contact within the team to for individuals across the trust to correct data deficiencies highlighted in data quality reports Play and active part in the delivery of Summary Care record training acting as a liaison point for national system queries which may need to be raised with the national team. Provide Cross cover and support for the DQ team during times of absence.

MAIN RESPONSIBILTITES 1Develop & maintain relationships with Contracts team within the trust to ensure regular reporting is available for validation. Develop with the Senior Information Analyst a timetable for receipt of the pre flex reporting for validation purposes. To agree with the Senior Analyst and DQ Manager a process for more regular validation reporting to aid in the reduction of commissioner challenges. Investigate and resolve monthly validation Commissioner queries in a timely and accurate manner Use the National Clinical Spine Service as appropriate for NHS numbers and misattributions amending patient demographic records as appropriate on PAS system Maintain a regular monitor of all validations and challenges, for reporting workloads to the DQ Manager.
