Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on QA activities for a technical analytics and data export platform
- Deliver testing across Azure data pipelines and cloud-native services
- Validate JSON file exports, data integrity and transformation logic
- Test Spark Notebook outputs and data processing workflows
- Execute functional and non-functional testing, including performance testing
- Support CI/CD pipelines with robust QA practices
- Collaborate with engineering and data teams to ensure production readiness
Key Skills:
- Proven experience testing Azure data pipelines: Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, Databricks
- Strong understanding of Spark Notebooks and data outputs
- Hands-on experience with Python and SQL
- CI/CD experience within cloud environments
- Strong Azure platform knowledge
- Comfortable working with structured and semi-structured data

Fruition are recruiting for a well-known organisation undertaking a major data and analytics programme within Azure. The business has recently delivered a successful Proof of Concept for a cloud-based analytics solution, enabling secure data extraction from a centralised Data Lake to external platforms. This contract role will focus on leading QA activity to productionise the solution into a live MVP, supporting a critical delivery phase within a highly technical Azure data environment.
QA Engineer Responsibilities:
- Lead on QA activities for a technical analytics and data export platform
- Deliver testing across Azure data pipelines and cloud-native services
