The role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of three days in the office, and is full-time with a contract duration of 12 months. The position is based in Sidcup, Kent, with a focus on effective stakeholder engagement and risk mitigation related to personal data breaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing compliance with statutory requirements imposed by the Data Protection Act (DPA 2018) and UK-GDPR.
  • Guiding the completion of data protection documentation using the Data Capability Assurance Framework.
  • Supporting the creation and review of bespoke Privacy Notices for Information Asset Owners/project authors.
  • Providing guidance on law and legislation governing personal data use and supporting compliance during audits.
  • Assisting in data protection training to enhance data literacy within the organization.
  • Engaging with all functions and directorates for effective management of personal data.
  • Managing expectations of key stakeholders regarding data protection documentation development.
  • Supporting units within DDaT to ensure compliance in data-driven directives.
  • Assessing personal data breaches for escalation and providing risk mitigation advice.
