We are looking for an experienced Data Protection (IG) Officer who will act as a critical friend to our clinical and technical teams, ensuring that all of our teams operate safely and legally when it comes to data. This role will operate as our Data Protection Officer (DPO) at a strategic level, alongside overseeing the day to day compliance with legislation, regulation and guidance.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping our data governance and will be responsible for providing ad hoc advice and guidance, developing training plans, leading on the production and maintenance of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA), our Information Asset Register (IAR) and responses to requests under UK GDPR
