Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and upgrade Master Media Client servers for NetBackup and other recovery software.
• Perform routine backup maintenance tasks daily and resolve issues related to backup and recovery operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to performance, security, and system maintenance across operating systems, databases, and applications.
• Plan, test, and support disaster recovery procedures, including failover and failback strategies.
• Conduct regular restore tests to ensure data recoverability and system performance.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and handle priority calls for backup and recovery issues.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve complex technical issues and implement best practices.
• Generate, analyze, and present backup and recovery reports to management.
• Contribute to the upskilling of cloud-based backup solutions and other evolving technologies.

Key Skills:

• Mandatory Experience: NetBackup (versions 9101 to 10301) and Commvault Hyperscale X Veritas Cluster Server (VCS).
