Are you a seasoned professional in data protection and information governance? We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to drive the Corporate Information Governance agenda on a initial 6 month contract.

About the Role

You’ll work closely with senior management to shape and implement the data protection strategy, ensuring compliance with GDPR, UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and PECR. This is a pivotal role that blends policy development, programme management, and expert advisory responsibilities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Substantial experience advising senior leaders on complex governance issues
  • Proven track record in managing data protection programmes and corporate IG strategy
  • In-depth knowledge of national and European data protection legislation
  • Strong understanding of IT landscapes and how data drives service transformation
  • Confident communicator with the ability to translate technical concepts clearly
  • Relevant degree and professional qualifications (e.g., ISEB/BCS Data Protection Certificate)

Day Rate: £450 per day via a umbrella company

Hybrid Working with the office being based in Dudley.
