Job DescriptionJob Title: Data ProcessorLocation: Milton Keynes (Hybrid role)Salary: 11.61 per hourContract: Initial contract until end of December 2024We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Data Processor to join our Government Client`s team in Milton Keynes. As a Data Processor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of various data sets, supporting the Risk, Assurance, and Deliverability Team.Responsibilities" Obtain reports on accidents and incidents in relation to safety, health & environment performance." Liaise with Train Operating Companies to obtain reports on accidents and incidents, as necessary." Analyse reports and completed accident/incident report forms as directed, identifying basic and underlying causes." Input details of accidents and incidents, including events at Managed Stations, into the appropriate event recording system, signing them off in the system when complete." Maintain the safety management information system as necessary." Assist the investigator in the production of investigation reports with the collation of statements and preparation of documents." Input details and track progress of investigation and inquiry recommendations and local actions through the safety management information system." Liaise with external regulators on accident and incident investigations as necessary." Produce reports on safety, health & environment performance as required.What skills and experience are we looking for?" Knowledge of railway formal inquiry and investigation, and accident/incident investigation procedures." Good communication skills, written and verbal.We Would Also Like, But It's Not Essential" Basic safety, health and environment training." Knowledge of railway operating and engineering principles.RequirementsProven ability to work systematically, accurately, and meet deadlines. Competence in working with IT systems, including PowerApps, MS Forms, Share point, Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook.
