Summary: This role is for a Privacy Specialist on a fixed-term contract within a leading Media and Entertainment organization in the UK. The position involves managing complex privacy matters and developing privacy frameworks while collaborating closely with the in-house Legal & Compliance team. The role requires significant interaction with senior stakeholders and offers a hands-on approach to privacy issues in a major technology and entertainment context. Key Responsibilities:

This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned Data Privacy professional to join one of the leading Media and Entertainment organisations in the UK. The role reports directly to the Chief Compliance Counsel and involves working on a wide variety of complex Privacy matters affecting a major Technology & Entertainment Corporate. This position would suit someone that's looking for a hands on, complex Privacy role, and enjoys variety. This is a very business facing role with considerable exposure to senior stakeholders. This appointment will involve you working closely with their in-house Legal & Compliance team, whist also offering the change to make / shape the Privacy framework for a major Technology & Entertainment household name.
About You
This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned Privacy Professional with demonstrable experience of working on some of the following:
- Experience of working within a large corporate environment with stakeholders would be helpful, but not essential.
- Experience of advising on complex Data Privacy matters
- Proven ability to further develop and operate Privacy frameworks and policies and conduct risk assessments, investigation and training.
- Good understanding of a broad range of Data Privacy (GDPR) matters.
- Ideally a background in the technology and / or AI industry sector, but not essential.
- Ability to influence senior management and stakeholders on a range of Data Privacy regulatory matters affecting a large corporation in difference territories.
- Demonstrable experience of strong organisational, communication and project management skills.
