Data Platform Project Manager

Key Responsibilities You will:

• Manage and curate programme backlogs, scope plans, and change control processes.
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive RAID framework.
• Oversee resource allocation, capacity planning, and performance tracking across delivery teams.
• Facilitate decision-making across stakeholders, influencing outcomes without direct authority.
• Manage integrated project plans and schedules across multiple suppliers and workstreams.
• Review contractual commitments and ensure delivery aligns with agreed objectives and obligations.
• Maintain financial oversight, tracking forecasts, actual costs, variances, and programme reporting.
• Drive governance activities, steering committees, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.
• Manage RASCI frameworks and ensure accountability across all delivery partners.
• Lead communication and change management activities, ensuring stakeholders remain informed and engaged throughout delivery.

What We re Looking For

• Significant experience managing large-scale programmes involving multiple suppliers, consultancies, and delivery streams simultaneously.
• Strong project management expertise across planning, budgeting, governance, stakeholder management, risk management, and reporting.
• Experience delivering data platform, data management, or data product initiatives.
• A solid understanding of data concepts including data platforms, data lineage, data integrity, and data products.
• Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and drive decisions in Matrix organisations without relying on formal authority.
• Strong commercial awareness, including contract management, financial oversight, and supplier governance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to bring teams together around a common objective.
