Data Platform Implementation Lead

Summary: The Data Platform Implementation Lead is responsible for designing, building, and governing an enterprise-scale data platform for a business undergoing a significant separation program. This role requires a blend of technical leadership, solution architecture, and stakeholder management to enhance the organization's data utilization for AI-driven insights. The position involves leading cross-functional teams and establishing data governance frameworks while integrating various financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the design and delivery of a modern data platform using Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI)
• Architecting end-to-end data solutions for ingestion, transformation, storage, semantic modeling, and consumption
• Driving integration across Dataverse, Dynamics 365 F&O, and financial systems such as OneStream
• Laying the data foundations for AI and Copilot-driven use cases
• Establishing enterprise data governance, MDM, and compliance frameworks (including Microsoft Purview)
• Leading cross-functional teams including implementation partners, data analysts, architects, and business analysts
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to shape the wider data and reporting strategy

Key Skills:

• Proven experience leading enterprise data platform implementations end-to-end
• Deep expertise across Microsoft Fabric, Dataverse, and Dynamics 365 F&O
• Experience integrating finance systems (e.g. OneStream) into a broader data architecture
• Strong grounding in cloud platforms (Azure preferred), data warehousing/lakehouse design, and governance tooling
• Background in finance-integrated environments
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, comfortable operating across technical and business audiences
