Summary: The Data Platform Consultant role requires an individual with active SC Security Clearance and expertise in Power BI, Tableau, and AWS Cloud. The position involves designing and implementing a cloud-based Data Analytics platform for a leading IT and Digital transformation business. The consultant will work on a hybrid basis, balancing remote work with office presence in Corsham, Wiltshire. The contract is for six months, starting ASAP in March/April 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and implement a cloud-based Data Analytics platform.
- Provide data workflow, data visualisation, and dashboard solutions.
- Support the definition of POC scoping, success criteria, and value proposition.
- Shape the technical path from POC to MVP considering scalability, security, governance, and reuse.
- Support build, configuration, and implementation activities alongside developers and data engineers.
- Communicate technical trade-offs clearly to key stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with Tableau, Power BI, and Apache Superset.
- Proficiency in AWS Cloud Infrastructure environments including AWS Glue, S3 Buckets, Athena, and Serverless data pipelines.
- Experience in Python and R-style workflow development environments.
- SQL querying and data transformation skills.
- Hands-on experience with secure, cloud-based Data Analytics platforms.
- In-depth experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics platforms, and Data Science.
