Summary: The role of Data Modeller involves designing and delivering gold layer data models for Finance, Underwriting, and Operations within a leading Lloyd's Market insurance firm. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver gold layer data models for Finance, Underwriting, and Operations on AWS Data Lakehouse.

- Deliver dimensional and relational models for various insurance functions.
- Implement cloud platform solutions, specifically AWS (Redshift, Athena, Glue), and medallion architecture.
- Support organizations undergoing major transformations, such as syndicate launches and managing agency transitions.
- Apply knowledge of semantic modelling, ontologies, or knowledge graph concepts.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience in designing and delivering gold layer data models for Finance, Underwriting, and Operations on AWS Data Lakehouse;
- Deep London Market/Lloyd's Managing Agency data modelling experience;
- Strong track record delivering dimensional and relational models for various insurance functions;
- Cloud platform experience, specifically AWS (Redshift, Athena, Glue), medallion architecture;
- Previous experience working in organisations going through major transformation (eg syndicate launch, managing agency transition); and
- Exposure to semantic modelling, ontologies, or knowledge graph concepts.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in the London (City) office.
