Summary: The Data & AI Platform Architect role involves designing and delivering cloud-native data, analytics, and AI platforms throughout the data value chain. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and practical delivery experience, focusing on scalable and secure solutions while working closely with clients. The architect will lead small teams, influence strategic direction, and ensure high-quality delivery of projects. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys both technical challenges and client interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect end-to-end data and AI platforms using cloud-native technologies
- Define scalable solutions across data ingestion, processing (batch and Real Time), storage, and consumption
- Embed robust data management practices, including governance, quality, security, and life cycle management
- Integrate advanced analytics, Machine Learning, and Generative AI capabilities into enterprise platforms
- Advise clients on best practices, architectural decisions, and technology selection
- Lead and mentor small teams or workstreams, ensuring high-quality delivery
- Collaborate with engineering, data science, and business stakeholders to align solutions with business needs
- Promote modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automated testing
Key Skills:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in data & analytics and AI solution design and delivery
- Demonstrated experience leading implementation for small teams or workstreams
- Strong understanding of cloud-centric architecture and modern platform design principles
- Solid knowledge of core data management concepts across the full data life cycle
- Experience with batch and Real Time data processing frameworks
- Good understanding of CI/CD and modern approaches to IT and infrastructure delivery
- Ability to clearly articulate key concepts in AI, Machine Learning, and Data Mining
- Experience translating AI capabilities (including Generative AI and Large Language Models) into practical enterprise solutions
