Key Responsibilities:

- Own, develop, and maintain the full data migration project plan.

Data Migration Project Manager - Inside IR35 - Hybrid (2 days onsite) - Manchester based
Role:
We are looking for an experienced data migration Project Manager to take responsibility for leading the end-to-end migration from Dynamics UMAX2012 to Salesforce (Marekt to Order M2O) and Dynamics UMAX365 (Order to Cash O2C), ensuring a smooth and accurate transition. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing and directing a blended team of nine data architects and analysts, working with the technical lead to provide daily leadership and alignment to the current plans in addition to owning, developing and maintaining the full data migration project plan with the programme planner and PMO. They will ultimately be responsible for managing all key governance artefacts, including RAID logs, meeting minutes, and action logs.
Core Functional Requirements & Experience:
- Proven track record as a Data Migration Project Manager, managing data migration as a primary function, not as a component of a wider project.
- Strong experience producing detailed migration plans and governance materials across MS Dynamics applications
- Demonstrated ability to lead mixed teams (internal and supplier) within structured delivery environments.
- Experience in coordinating data migration across complex platforms (Dynamics, Salesforce, ETL pipelines).
- Strong background in data-related programme governance and PMO-aligned reporting.
Desirable:
Experience defining and implementing data migration strategy, including:
- Data cleansing approaches
- ETL planning Selection and application of tools, methodologies, and frameworks
- Experience working within regulated or highly governed environments.
