Summary: The Data Migration Project Manager will oversee the complete migration of data from legacy Billing and CRM systems to cloud platforms as part of a significant transformation program. This role involves managing migration planning, governance, and delivery while collaborating with both internal teams and suppliers. The Project Manager will ensure compliance with program controls and act as the primary contact for stakeholders throughout the migration process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and deliver all migration phases: planning, execution, rehearsal, validation, cutover, and post-migration support
- Develop and manage the integrated migration plan, sequencing, dependencies, milestones, and critical path
- Lead hybrid teams and suppliers; align migration activity with technical delivery
- Own migration governance (RAID, actions/decisions, status reporting) and ensure compliance with programme controls
- Act as primary migration contact for business, technical, and supplier stakeholders
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery timelines
- Oversee data validation, reconciliation, auditability, regulatory compliance, and formal sign-off
- Report progress and risks to programme forums and senior stakeholders
- Deliverables include migration runbooks, rehearsal and cutover plans/reports, data validation and reconciliation reports, and complete governance logs

The Data Migration Project Manager will lead the end-to-end migration of data from legacy Billing and CRM systems to cloud platforms within a major transformation programme. Accountable for migration planning, governance, and delivery, leading a blended internal and supplier team and working closely with the Technical Lead, Programme Planner, and PMO.
Responsibilities
