Data Migration Engineer

Data Migration Engineer - Google Workspace - M365 - 12 month contract - central government - SC Clearance

I am looking for an experienced Data Migration Engineer to help move large-scale data from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 for a central government department, using Cloudiway and native Microsoft migration tools.

You'll run end-to-end migrations so users move to the new platform with complete, accurate data as seemlessly as possible.

Due to the urgency and nature of the role, ideal candidates will have active SC Clearance in place.

• Significant hands-on experience delivering large-scale data migration jobs across Google Workspace and M365 environments.
• Strong data security knowledge within migration and platform change contexts.
• Confident PowerShell scripting skills.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Ability to own end-to-end execution while keeping sight of the broader operational picture.
• Experience of working within a team and across a wider network of teams.
• Self-motivation, resilience and a track record of delivery in complex or highly regulated organisations.
• Genuine interest in data and in all aspects of data migration work.
