Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct VMware-to-Proxmox migrations with a focus on minimizing downtime.
- Manage and configure virtual environments, including VM configuration, storage, and networking.
- Utilize Proxmox VE architecture for clustering and backup strategies.
- Perform Linux systems administration tasks and troubleshoot related issues.
- Convert disk formats and utilize migration tooling effectively.
- Plan and document migration processes, including rollback plans and system changes.
- Communicate with stakeholders to ensure service continuity, particularly in healthcare or charity sectors.
