Summary: The Data Lead role involves leading the Data Workstream for a global organization's digital transformation project, specifically focusing on implementing a new Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). We work with a global organisation that is going through a digital transformation, implementing a new Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Our client is seeking a Data Lead to sit within the Enterprise Data Group and lead the Data Workstream for this specific programme. This role entails establishing the structured data foundations required to improve laboratory efficiency, protect regulatory integrity and enable future digital product revenue streams. You will be responsible for ensuring that the data is understood, structured, governed and future-ready. It focuses on data discovery, architecture and governance and will work alongside operational leads. There is no need for specific LIMS experience, but any system implementation will be advantageous. We are looking for experience working in an enterprise environment with unstructured data and specifically understand how data is captured, where it is stored, and in what format. This person should also be able to assess what additional data will need to be captured to support the future digital product offering.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience leading enterprise data initiatives or data workstreams

Contract length: 6 months (+ potential for extension)
Location: Hemel Hempstead (2 days/ week onsite)
