Summary: The Data Management Specialist role involves leading the strategic development and governance of data and information within the Digital Estate for a two-month contract, with potential for extension. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of data governance frameworks (e.g., RDF Schema, Dublin Core, IES4).
- Act as a Data Steward, accountable for data quality, structure, and lifecycle.
- Oversee integration of supplier CAFM systems with the AIM CDE.
- Ensure compliance with Government Functional Standards and data assurance processes.
- Collaborate with the Data Quality Board and DEWG to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain metadata standards and ontologies for semantic interoperability.
- Support training and capability development in data literacy and analytics.
Key Skills:
- Expertise in data governance, metadata standards (Dublin Core), and semantic modelling (RDF).
- Familiarity with IoT data integration, CAFM systems, and AIM CDE platforms.
- Strong understanding of public sector data policy, security, and compliance.
- Experience with SPARQL, linked data, and data quality assurance.
- An Undergraduate degree in a property related discipline along with relevant other experience and qualifications.
- Chartered membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.

The Role Due to the specific nature of this role, the contract is initially for two months with the prospect of being extended. As the Data & Information Lead for this project, you will assemble Legacy O&M information from existing locations and identify the asset warranties and guarantees into a comprehensive digital format for sharing with local FM teams and suppliers through our CDE.
