Summary: The Data Management Consultant role requires a DV cleared professional to join a global IT consultancy's Data Office team in London. The consultant will work closely with clients to implement their Data Management strategy, focusing on data modeling, standards, and metadata management. The position demands on-site presence four days a week due to the nature of the client. The role emphasizes the development of data models and governance of data standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Physical, Logical, and Conceptual Data Models.
• Create dictionaries, database designs, and data flow diagrams.
• Work with Ontologies or Knowledge Graphs.
• Utilize tools like Visio, Sparx, or Draw.IO.
• Write technical specifications and assure systems against standards.
• Lead the development of data standards and govern them within the organization.
• Design or develop Data Catalogues or Metadata repositories.
• Use tools like Apache Atlas, Hive Metastore, AWS Glue, or AWS Datazone.
• Translate business problems into data design.

Key Skills:

• Experience in data modeling and development of data models.
• Proficiency in creating technical specifications and assuring systems.
• Ability to lead and govern data standards.
• Experience with metadata management and data catalogues.
• Familiarity with data management tools and languages like UML or Express-G.
• Site specific DV Clearance.
