Data Governance Manager

Onsite Nottingham 3 days a week/ Hybrid

Initial 6-month rolling contract / inside IR35

My client who is a world leading technology organisation are recruiting for a Data Governance Manager.

You will be responsible for:

• Establish hierarchies and lead the implementation of a business-wide Data Governance framework for your main data domains, with clear timelines, milestones, and deliverables
• Support the personal development of the Data Governance Specialist roles through clear direction, training and feedback
• Maintain the centralised data inventory to ensure the business rules, standards and procedures for your department are up to date

Essential skills

• You will have an extensive background in data governance, preferably be certified (DAMA, CDMP, EDM Council)
• Knowledge and exposure of data protection, audit and policy principles
• Ideally have working experience in an Omni-channel environment.
• You will be able to build and maintain collaborative relationships across the business and IT
• You will be able to explain complex data issues to technical and non-technical partner.
