Key Responsibilities:

• Define data ownership and accountability across the organization
• Create and manage the enterprise-wide data catalog
• Oversee the creation, maintenance and use of metadata
• Implement and maintain security protocols to protect data from unauthorized access and breaches
• Establish and enforce data governance and policy standards
• Regularly audit data access and usage to ensure compliance with policies and standards
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and identify data quality issues
• Conduct data profiling and quality assessments to identify data discrepancies and inconsistencies

Key Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a data role
• Capability to present and guide expectations aligned to Data Best Practice (DBP) Guidance
• Proficient in documenting data processes, data lineage and data management activities
• Excellent data analysis techniques
• Capable of creating and providing operational design and policy standards
• Good understanding of the client data integration patterns
• Good understanding of business data models for internal and external stakeholders
• Expertise in data profiling, data cleansing, and data validation techniques
• Can identify impacts of data (or bad data)
• Exposure to a range of visualization and reporting techniques to drive data integrity standards
