Summary: The Data Engineer role focuses on integrating Talend into the expanding Digital and Data Function of a client organization. The position involves developing and delivering data engineering and integration solutions, converting IBM Data Stage jobs into Talend ETL code, and collaborating with the Data Management Team. The role requires a strong technical background in data engineering and a commitment to the organization's data strategy. The position is a 6-month contract based in Crawley, requiring SC clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver Data Engineering and Data Integration from various sources into a central warehouse environment.
• Follow the defined data engineering strategy and architecture to meet business needs.
• Convert IBM Data Stage jobs into Talend ETL code.
• Deliver data integration for consumption and analysis across multiple applications and interfaces.
• Design, develop, maintain, and manage ETL solutions, including data exchange process models and specifications.
• Plan and estimate data engineering tasks as part of an agile squad.
• Take a high-level view of Data Engineering requirements and roadmaps.

Key Skills:

• Experience in defining data extract, transformation, and load routines.
