Data Engineer - Salesforce Integration

The Role

You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining data flows into and out of Salesforce, helping to ensure business-critical data is available, accurate and synchronised across the wider technology estate.

Working alongside Salesforce Consultants, Architects and technical stakeholders, you'll play a key role in delivering complex integration solutions and enabling seamless connectivity between platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines integrating Salesforce with internal and third-party systems
• Design ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation and synchronisation
• Develop and support API-led integrations and data services
• Deliver batch and Real Time data integration solutions
• Ensure data quality, governance and integrity across integrated systems
• Work closely with Salesforce teams to support platform enhancements and ongoing projects
• Troubleshoot integration issues and optimise performance
• Contribute to integration architecture and best practices

Required Experience

• Strong commercial experience as a Data Engineer
• Proven experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems and applications
• Experience building and maintaining scalable data pipelines
• Strong SQL and data transformation skills
• Experience working with REST and SOAP APIs
• Strong understanding of integration patterns and data architecture
• Experience handling complex datasets from multiple sources
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Highly Desirable

• MuleSoft
• Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk API, Platform Events)
• Experience with Middleware and iPaaS platforms
• Python or other Scripting languages
• Data modelling and master data management
• Event-driven and Real Time integration architectures
• Previous experience working within a Salesforce consultancy or partner environment

Contract Details

• 6-Month Initial Contract
• £450 per day
• Outside IR35
• Start Date: 3rd August
• King's Cross, London
• 2-3 Days Per Week Onsite
