Summary: A global lifestyle brand is seeking a Data Engineer to develop and maintain a marketing database that enhances analytics and personalized consumer experiences. This role is part of the Consumer Intelligence and Experience (CIX) team, focusing on market research and data management. The Data Engineer will be responsible for ensuring clean and structured data across the organization. The position requires collaboration with various teams and expertise in data processing tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures
  • Ensure data quality, security, and governance across systems
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams
  • Oversee data collection, transformation, and validation
  • Use Python, SQL, and Excel to process and model data

Key Skills:

  • Retail or advertising/marketing experience is highly desirable
  • Experience with media data ELT tools and marketing APIs
  • Familiarity with marketing datamarts and performance metrics
  • Cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Snowflake
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, Git, and DBT
  • Knowledge of MMM/MTA and deployment tools like Airflow or Docker

You’ll be the lead developer responsible for enabling clean, structured data across the organisation.
