Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and fix live issues related to Corporate Data Transformation and Integration.
- Validate new versions of scripts using SQL Loader and Maestro/IBM Workload Scheduler batch jobs.
- Ensure all changes are controlled in GitLab.
- Collaborate with architects to assess risks and consequences of changes.
- Support and maintain existing scripts and services during modernization efforts.
- Contribute to defining practices, standards, and ways of working within the team.
- Participate in project work related to moving services to new infrastructure.
- Engage in on-the-job and external training opportunities.
Key Skills:
- Solid background in Linux/Unix.
- Experience with PL/SQL Scripting.
- Knowledge of SQL databases.
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus.
- Knowledge of IBM Workload Scheduler.
- Experience with GitLab.
- Development experience.
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket/Bamboo).
