Summary: The Data Engineer role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions using Microsoft Azure for a multinational consumer goods corporation. Key Responsibilities:
- Create scalable data pipelines and analytical solutions using Microsoft Azure.
- Enhance and automate existing data workflows and business automations.
- Design and develop interactive Power BI reports and visualisations.
- Collaborate with multi-national teams to gather project requirements.
- Establish best practices in data management and governance.
Key Skills:
- Mastery of Databricks, Python/PySpark, and SQL/SparkSQL.
- Experience in Big Data/ETL, preferably with Spark and Databricks.
- Expertise in Azure technologies.
- Proficiency with version control (Git preferred).
- Knowledge of DAX and Power BI.
- Understanding of Agile SCRUM and DevOps methodologies.
- At least a bachelor’s degree and English proficiency.
