Data Engineer (Live Support & Monitoring)
Location: Mostly remote - Telford, 2 days per month in the office
Day Rate: £487/day, Inside IR35
Duration: 6 months
Clearance: SC required, in place before the start is confirmed

A major public sector data platform team needs a Data Engineer to provide live support and to improve how its services are monitored.
Live support across:
- Denodo
- Talend
- PDI
- Git
- MySQL
- Redshift
Grafana monitoring:
- Dashboard creation and consolidation. The team has several dashboards for separate, independent services and wants to consolidate them into a live service view that can be drilled into by service, rather than adding a new dashboard for each service
- Setting up and configuring alerting on Legacy services that have no monitoring or alerting in place
- Gathering requirements, understanding each service and delivering alerts to suit
Experience:
- Ideally, experience of Grafana monitoring
- Experience of working in a client-side role would be beneficial but is not essential
